Classification: Death Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JW.2ADE/8514 Message Board Post: Boy Fatally Shot By Uncle Christopher Oergal, age 6. of Burbank was fatally wounded last Sunday about 2:30 p.rn. when an uncle, attempting to release the cylinder of a nine shot revolver accidentally shot him. The boy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank D. Oergal had been target shooting with the uncle in the desert 20 miles southwest of Mojave and was rushed to Mojave Medical Center for aid. In spite of all efforts to save him, the boy passed away at 6:45 p.m. Sunday night. Christopher had been attending St. Roberts Ballermine Elementary school in Burbank and was in the second grade. The body was removed to Turner Mortuary and later transferred to Kubask Mortuary in Burbank.
