She was born in Illinois but had lived in California for the past twenty years. Mrs. Wright was associated with the Chicago Daily News prior to her arrival in Mojave in 1940. She also worked for, the old Mojave Record, which.ceased publication many years ago. Survivors include three sisters, Catherine Chenard, Mojave; Mrs. Vivian Anderson and Miss Jean Riley, both of Illinois; three brothers, John L., Edward T. and Francis Riley of Illinois. Also one son-in-law who resides in Bakersfield. Rosary was recited at 8:00 p.m. Sunday. March 22 at Payne & Son Funeral Home. Requiem Mass was offered Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis Church, Mojave, with Msgr. Silvana Baquedano as celebrant. Interment followed in Mojave District Cemetery.
