EVANS 1921-2005 Longtime Ridgecrest resident Margaret B. Evans passed away Thursday June 9, 2005 at Ridgecrest Regional Hospital. She was 84. Services will be private. Inurnment will be at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside. Mrs. Evans was born Feb. 13, 1921 in Ohio. She moved to Ridgecrest in 1953 and was a homemaker. Her family says this about her: "Margaret loved to travel to Laughlin, Nev. and play her poker machine. She loved to have her family around for her to give advice and to boss around. She loved to have her friends stop by and talk about the old days." She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Judy and Mitch Howard of Boron, daughter and son-in-law Elaine and Jerry Mitchell of Palmdale, step-son Edward Evans of Reno, Nev., 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
