She was 92. Visitation will be Friday June 10 from 5 to 7 pm at Holland & Lyons Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday June 11 at 1:30 pm at Holland & Lyons Chapel. Jim Hammett will officiate. Mrs. Ryan was born Aug. 12, 1912 in Nashua, N.H. one of 18 children. She moved to China Lake in 1945 but had spent the last 15 years in Tehachapi. She was a homemaker who enjoyed the outdoor life - camping and fishing. She was know as "Nana" and truly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Dan and Ann Ryan of Ridgecrest, daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Kenneth Hignite of Tehachapi, son Ronald L. Ryan of Ridgecrest, son and daughter-in-law Leo and Sandy Ryan of Palm Springs, grandson and wife Richard and Diane Ryan of Philadelphia, Pa., granddaughter and husband Julie and Mike Sorenson of Ridgecrest, granddaughter and husband Cathy and Mike Braem of Ridgecrest, grandson and wife Eddie and Justine Whittington of Ottawa, Ill., grandson and wife Ronnie and CarolineRyan of Bakersfield, grandson and wife Jeremy and Jenna Ryan of Chicago, Ill., granddaughter and husband Trisha and Chris Truitt of Bakersfield, grandson NathanRyan of San Luis Obispo, granddaughter Tara Nowak of Wausau, Wis., granddaughter Lori Wolff of Magalia, granddaughter Rosie Ryan of Palm Springs, brother Leo Rioux of Ridgecrest, brother Jerry Rioux of Nashua, N.H., sister Lorraine Smith of Northfield, N.H., and 17 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her granddaughters Julie and husband Mike Sorensen of Ridgecrest, Cathy and husband Mike Braem of Ridgecrest, Trisha and husband Chris Truitt of Bakersfield, Tara Nowak of Wausau, Wisc., Lori Wolff of Magalia and Rosie Ryan of Palm Springs. More survivors are her brothers Leo Rioux of Ridgecrest and Jerry Rioux of Nashua, N.H., her sister Lorraine Smith of Northfield, N.H. and 17 great-grandchildren. Interment was at Desert Memorial Park. Arrangements were provided by Holland & Lyons Mortuary.
