Roy has joined his mother, Geneva Woodard and several other loved ones in the beautiful gardens of heaven where he will continue listening to the spiritual sounds of country gospel music. He is survived by his two sisters, Paulette Quarles of Corcoran, California, Mardell Wheeler of Hanford, California; brother Gentry Ford Jr., of Boron and several other family members and the thousands of children and people whose lives he touched. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 10 at the American Legion, Post 636, 27000 Twenty Mule Team Road in Boron, where he was an active member of the Sons of the American Legion and the VFW.
