AUGENSTINE 1963-2005 Former Ridgecrest resident Karen K. Augenstine passed away Saturday June 18, 2005. She was 42. Funeral services will be held Friday June 24 at 2 pm at Christ's Church of The Valley, 1404 West Covina Blvd., San Dimas. Viewing will begin at noon. Interment will be in Indiana. Mrs. Augenstine was born April 3, 1963 in Ridgecrest. She grew up in Ridgecrest but had lived in the San Dimas/Covina area since 1992. She worked for the Metropolitan Water District for 15 years. She was a devoted union activist for AFSCME Local 1902. The family suggestions donation in her name be made to the American Cancer Society. She is survived by her loving husband Brad, daughter Kara, father Robert L. Fowler of Ridgecrest, brother James L. Fowler and sister-in-law Mindy Mongeon of Ridgecrest, sister Kris Fowler Smith and brother-in-law Ralph Smith of Illinois, nieces Jacqueline and Jennifer, nephew Jacob and many dear friends.
