Hopefully it will help someone else. I had actually already tried both of these things. I got a hit for one of the children. I went back to my records and found the obit that my graandmother got from Betty Mae (Cullum) Griffin's death. Only a few of the children stayed in California. When I checked for records for these children, their names are very common in California. Without additional information it is almost impossible for me to figure out which one's are the correct records. I looked for online obits (I live in Arkansas) and found none available.
