Donna, since you have a list of the children's names, I recommend checking the CADI (CA Death Index) to see if any of the children have died in the state of California, or check the SSDI (Social Security Death Index) for deaths that might have occurred outside the state of California, (or anywhere, including CA, since 1997). If you can identify a date and probable place of death, then you can then try to procure obituaries and hope to find names of the children's children.
