O'NEIL 1948-2005 Ridgecrest resident Daniel L. O'Neil passed away Tuesday May 24, 2005 at West Los Angeles Veteran's Hospital in Los Angeles. He was 56. A graveside service will be held Saturday June 18 at 10 am at Desert Memorial Park. Pastor Jim Walden of the Community of Christ Church will officiate. Inurnment will be at Desert Memorial Park. Mr. O'Neil was born Sept. 11, 1948 in Los Angeles. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1967 to 1973 and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He was employed as a paper carrier by The News Review and was active with the Community of Christ Church. He is survived by his mother, Barbara O'Neil of Ridgecrest, his ex-wife Carmen O'Neil of Los Angeles, daughter Wendy O'Neil of Los Angeles, brother Don O'Neil of Burbank, sister Peggy O'Neil of Idaho and two grandchildren.
