Classification: Death Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JW.2ADE/8488 Message Board Post: Fatal Crash At Krammer Junction Frank Badgett, 40, a resident of Boron was killed early Tuesday morning when his car parked on the Santa Fe tracks near Krammer Junction was hit by a fast passenger train whose engineer was J. F. Holland of Bakersfield. Badgett, an unemployed painter was thought to be dispondent over his domestic situation and his death leaves five fatherless children according to reliable information. The accident occurred in San Bernardino County and investigation of the tragedy was made by CHP officers from Barstow. The body was taken to that city where funeral arrangements are pending on a coroners inquest. CHP report said the man apparently drove his station wagon 1000 feet across the desert and parked directly on the tracks.
