She was 83. Funeral services were private. The family asks at her request that each one do an unselfish act for another person and then "pass it on." Thank you, all of the angels at Hi-Desert Family Elderly Care and VNA Hospice. Mrs. Haycock was born Sept. 16, 1921 in Eureka, Utah, the third daughter of Lon and Rose Clemons Billington. She spent her youth in the mining town of Dividend, Utah. She worked for the Atomic Energy Commission, China Lake from 1947 to 1958 and retired as a GS-12 AO for the engineerig department, Naval Weapons Test Station, China Lake in 1970. She was loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, sister, three nephews, great-granddaughter Lulu Star Luke and husband of 61 years Lloyd Haycock. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn and husband John Luke, grandsons Ted and wife Tanya Luke and Lincoln and wife Toi Luke, granddaughter Phoebe Luke and Brook Wiseman, nine great-grandchildren Lyza, Buzz, Liz, Jason, Daniel, Alofa, Johnny, Shelby and Colby, sisters Madlyn and Lola, brother Lon, two nephews and seven nieces.
