Lee, 55, of Garner, Iowa, died March 19 after crashing his motocycle into a mountainside off Trona-Wildrose Road. According to the California Highway Patrol Lee was driving his 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on Trona-Wildrose Road, south of Nadeau Road, about 6:45 pm when he failed to negotiate a left hand curve in the roadway. The CHP's investigation showed Lee drove the Harley off the west roadway edge onto the dirt and gravel shoulder. Apparently he did not take any evasive action and drove into the mountain. Lee sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
