Do not remember the other ladies. I'm sure they would all be in their late 60's to 70's. We are not even sure if Lee was a married name or maiden name. We do know Katherine married a Jackson in Colman Co Texas, in 1943, at that time her name was Lee. She left when my cousin was 11 years old and have had, no trace of her since. I searched CADI at rootsweb, leaving the name out entirely and searching only for individuals who were born TX 1917 and died Kern 1973. Only five matches came up, and Katherine was among them. If you wonder why she didn't come up in your search, note that her name is indexed with the final "e" is missing from her given name. James leaves Bakersfield about 1905 and moves to Santa Cruz and dies there in 1913. James lived before coming to Bakersfield in San Luis Obispo County where he raised most of his kids and where most of them stayed. I never see that Jesse was in San Luis Obispo County. Thanks for the article you found about Jesse Dover and his children. Helps me to see what kind of person Jesse Dover was.
