Author: jonshumaker1 Surnames: Hollingsworth/Steele Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.california.counties.kern/3164.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Am very interested in your posting. as I recently discovered my late sister, or someone I strongly believe to be her, as having died in Taft, California in 1992. Her name was Patricia Rose (Hollingsworth). Now the last time I had seen my sister was in 1956, a few minutes after having had a heated discussion with our mother. She (Pat) had been residing with a Robert Hollingsworth in Santa Anna, CAlifornia, and had for a couple of years. Bob had been born in KS, too. He was driving truck for someon. I know not who. Bob was about thirty in 1955 when I met him. My sister was born in 1928, although her headstone shows 1931. This does not mean much. I had been informed a couple of years ago she died on a motor cycle having been riding with a sailor from California and this does fit my sister's profile. Is by chance there any connection?? My sister's last name incidentally was Steele. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
