Mess Sergeant?). LEWIS was med ht./wt, thinning brown hair but look much older than most GI. He maybe 68-70 years old now. Mom only remember LEWIS's name on shirt pocket but not first name. She is not interested in seeing him again but only helping me. He tell mom one day that he knew she was pregnant (before she know) and he not want to leave but Army closed MESS HALL and she had to quit working there. A few week later all G.I. were sent home in summer 1971. I born 7-8 months later in March 72. LEWIS was sent home early so he send Vietnamese friend to mom house telling her to come to airport immediately to tell him goodbye but she have no transportation. Lewis was probably in 124th Trans. Command (Tml A) or 10th Hdqtr.& Headqtr Battallion Detachment (Tml A) or...may be 442nd (Mdm Trk cargo). LEWIS may have been sent from CRB to Ft. Sill, Okla. & work in Mess Hall there. Do you know how I can find Food Service roster from summer 1971 in Ft. Sill? I would never cause him family problem, I just hope to someday meet him at least one time. I would fly wherever he is just to talk to him one time in my life. Never a day go by that I do not think of him. I afraid I will not find him before he die.
