Cain was born Feb. 2, 1870 in Vanport PA according to funeral home. James married Anna Brown (b. Feb. 8, 1874). They were in Armstrong County in Kittanning where my grandfather (Francis Earl Cain) was born November 1901. James died on July 5, 1946 in Allegheny County. James and Anna's children were Thomas, Francis, Mercedes, James, Anna and Mary. On the 1920 census it stated James parents were born in Ireland. I looked on the 1880 census and all I could match up with Jame's year of birth was an Owen Cain with a son James born in 1870. Don't know if this is my James. If anyone has any information about James or Anna's parents or siblings it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Kathy
