Linda, My Cain's were in Perry Co Ohio by 1815. Son, John Cain was probably born abt 1820 in Perry Co. You might check my website as I have all my Cain info there. I have not been able to determine their place of origin in Pennsylvania and have been checking Fayette, Washington and there abouts. I am also checking Cumberland Co as Elizabeht Brandt Cain came from there.
