I am wondering about your Maud Cain from St. Louis. I have a John Cain who was in St. Louis after 1870. He was married to Elizabeth Shinn (second wife), and they had a son named, George F. Cain b. in 1857. George F. Cain had a daughter, Maude, but I don't know when she was born or whom she married. Is it possible that this is the same Maud Cain in your family?
