The Hardin name comes from Major John Hardin (VA/PA) m. Catherine Marr, maternal g-g-grandparents of Jane Thomas Cain, married to Charles Stuteville Cain 1846, Grayson Co. KY. Jane and Charles are parents of first Hardin Thomas Cain, b. 1856. Where do you find your Cornelius Cain? I do not show anyone by that name but it has been suggested by others that my line may be related to him through Patrick Cain.
