I had no idea that a Mallette reunion was being held in Baltimore. I had no idea that Mallettes were still living in Maxton, NC. The Cain reunion is to be held in Maxton in July. I called Frank Cain at his residence and left a message with his wife. He never called me back. It is so frustrating to know you have kin that no one ever told you about and for some reasons there is no connection. Cynthia, we are kin. There is no doubt in my mind that you, Frank and the Mallete's are my kin. Hattie Cain Mallette was my great aunt. Her father was George Cain, Maxton, NC, a blacksmith. I have a copy of his picture. Please, I am hoping you, Frank and all the kin to the CAIN family that you know will come to the Cain reunion. I will keep you posted. I am a teacher and I work 12 months a year. I will try and make the Mallette reunion if my schedule dictates. Keep me posted. William
