Is your William related to James Cain born 1781 in Md. and died 1841 in Shelby Co. Ohio. He married Elizabeth Carper in Mont. Co. Va. in 1802.Their son John was born 1803 in Mont. Co. Va. Some of his children were born in Mont. Co. Va., a couple in Ohio and the rest in Indiana.
