I have recently found that the Rebecca Ann CAIN who m 1850 Madison Co MO to David C. BLACK of Randolph Co. AR. was the daughter of Isaac Cain This seems to be the Isaac Cain who was living in Conecuh Co AL in 1830 and Monroe Co AL in 1840.. The 1850 Census of Madison Co MO gives Isaac's birth place as GA and all of his children's birth places as AL. His wife is Elizabeth. I find a marriage record for Isaac Cain and Elizabeth Johnson in Hancock Co GA 02 Sept 1816. It looks as though Elizabeth's mother was Elizabeth Ashfield. Isaac Cain and Elizabeth Johnson's first son seems to have been Isaac Ashfield Cain. listed as 34. on the 1850 census a miner I think that the second child was William R. who was already m at the time of the 1850 census. He is in the1850 census of Randolph Co AR with wife Henningham and a 12 yr old male, looks like Nevrow Anniah born Mexico Samuel 22 blacksmith Ann (think this is Rebecca Ann) 17 Allen (Timothy Allen) 16 miner Augustus 14 Emana 11 Young 8 Einira? 15 m laborer b Mexico I'm looking for the parents of Isaac but any information about this family would be welcome.
