Cain (the Family Bible has his middle name as Jordan) was born in Virginia.. 1813, the right age for the grouping of Ruffin's son. He moved to Georgia and married in Greene County (near Henry County) in 1833. I have a Uncle Ruffin, G Uncle Ruffin, GG Uncle Ruffin, making Ruffin a family name for sure. I am guessing that it might really be BOLLING CAIN. If so, the BOLLINGs were a well known family in early VA, and it might be easy to find a marriage between a CAIN and a female BOLLING to produce your BOLLING. But DO let us know if you find that his name really was Boiling!!

She saw him when she was 14 at the train station and again when he came to see her in Washington DC after she married my father. 1925 -Vivien Kane b1913 lived in Pa, now w/ her daughter in another state. she is 93 -Grace Kane lived in Pa, passed several years ago...?
