    3. > I have a Jemima Anna Cain b. May 16,1865, in or around Camden, Grant Cty. > IN. Father was Jonathan and Mother was Mary Schmuck. Are your dates correct > ? I have no other info on her. > John Cain John, here are my sources for my Jamima Cain: A photocopy of a hand-written note by whom I don't know, but it came with photocopies of Jamima's daughter's family bible. It says: Mrs. Jemima Scott Was Born July 13 in Tipacnao Co in 1831 Mrs Horner Mother Mrs Scott Died February 3, 1925 aged 93 years, 6 months and a few days Mrs. Horner was Lucy Ann Scott, Jamima's daughter. I have verified the date of death with the Diggs Funeral Records. Jemima Scott was the second person listed in the records at Jefferson Cemetery, Grant County, Indiana. I have a photocopy of her obit, although it was undated and I don't know which paper it was from. I also have a marriage return for her daughter, Lucy Ann Scott, wherein it is stated her mother's maiden name is Jamima Cain born in Indiana. I have also received family group sheets from the Marion, Indiana Library on the Scott family. On this they list Jamima Cain married Jesse Scott Oak Ridge MM 1850. I have written to get that verified, but haven't heard back yet. Thanks, Jolynne

    3. Hi Jolynne, Thanks so much for your suggestion. I do hope it works. I'll certainly give you feedback after I have tested it. My basic subscription ends on 7/31. I had pretty much decided I would not resub but, if your suggestion works, I'll stay with Ancestry. 3. Ancestry census images: Make sure you download their browser. Find the census you want to print. It does take some time to load onto your screen. Be patient, the screen will be blank for a minute. You're not frozen, it's just loading slowly. When the census image you want is finally loaded, put your cursor on the image, right click and press print image. Very important: At the bottom of this print screen, there is a section called Selection. You can print either the current image, OR the entire image. You must click on entire image to get the entire census page to print. I won't tell you how long it took me to figure that out! LOL I hope this helps! Jolynne

    3. I haven't crashed yet but it is hardly worth my time since, for whatever reason, when I do find something I am unable to print it out. Odd! 3. Wow, I'm sorry you've had such trouble. I have subscribed for a long time and it's the best money I've ever spent. I do wish they'd hurry up and get all the censuses and indexes on there, however, the service has been invaluable to me. In what way did you crash? I've never had a problem, except that it is a tad slower than I'd like at times, but still faster than searching through microfilm. And while I'm writing, once again I'm searching for Jamima Cain, parents unknown, probably born in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. DOB per family bible was January 13, 1832 d. Feb 3, 1825 in Grant County Indiana. Married Jesse Scott and had, I think, 14 children. Jolynne
