I was hunting for information on the _SS Northerner_ which wrecked near Centerville (Humboldt) in 1860 and found this really neat website. It includes a number of ships that sailed the Pacific including passenger lists and ship histories, and transcriptions of newspaper articles. It looks like a good place to hunt for some ancestor information, and general maritime history.
