He was: included in the national census of 1900, 1910,1920; married to Helen DOUARIN; operated a barbershop; attended St Bernards RCC, Eureka; had 4 kids: Edward Clyde LAVERTY (b: 1901,died young), Gladys Louise LAVERTY (b: 1904, actress, stage name, Jean BARY, worked in Hollywood film industry during the late "silents" and early "talkies", m: William MUIR), Henry Joseph LAVERTY (b: 1905, was a SF stockbroker), and Peg (LAVERTY) BILLINGS (b: 1911, resides in Eureka).
