After reading about the Wrangletown Hotel I am hopeful that somebody can answer a question for me. I know that the old mill town of Falk is/was at the end of Elk River Rd., and that there is a gate beyond which the property is owned by the lumber company. I have been down that road and found that it branches to two different gates. The right branch crosses a creek and climbs the side of a hill. The left continues on a ways, then bends left before a small climb up a hill to an archery camp. Can anyone tell me which branch led to the old mill town? Thanks, Karen Woodward in Davis, CA PS...
