She is cited in both "The Motion Guide" and "Who's Who in Hollywood 1900-1976" by David Ragan She was b: Gladys Louise Laverty, 3 April 1904, Blue Lake CA (near Eureka). Her p: were Henry James and Helen (Douarin) Laverty; her siblings were: Peg (Laverty) Billings, Henry Joseph Laverty and Edward Clyde Laverty.
