The family you found is most likely the correct one. My hope is that one of them will know the parents and birthplace of Joseph, their grandfather. Joseph never left Nova Scotia, and I do find info on him, but nothing that positively gives his parents or their birth place. I have found possibles, but nothing to prove it. So, for now, I am trying to connect with those families from Joseph's first marriage. I am connected to the second marriage. Thanks again. I will pull up the census records and do some comparing.
