Andy passed away in 1984 and my dad this year. But as we all know love of history is inherited. I have been doing family research for about 35 years, and study local history as well as being involved with the local genealogy society.I have a web page for Humboldt history, http://www.geocities.com/califgeneclub/humgen.html and have my own genealogy club on line. The business directorys that I have seen have all be published in the Redwood Researcher. There may be more that I am not aware of from that time frame. There were more business card collections than directories from what I have seen. What an amazing find! I am tickled for you to have such a photo. I also have one picture of my great grandmother, she had her photo "made" for christmas one year and then when she saw it she decided she didn't like it and was not going to give them to the kids. So my granmother being a strong minded young woman stole one. Bless her soul.
