    3. There is a book on those that served in the War of the Rebellion from CA by Orton at our public library....it's been indexed by Carlyle Parker. If you would like me to look for John Brehmer I could do that the next time I'm at the library. My gggf joined the CA forces and ended being wounded in Utah territory as his part in the Civil War :>) oops War of the Rebellion. If he actually served you can order his military records using a form 80 I believe. Go to www.cyndislist.com and take a look at military records. I have my gggf's. Let me know.
