Dear List, "California Place Names" identifies a town called Essex, in San Bernardino County, and then mentions that there is another Essex, in Humboldt County. Can anyone tell me anything about your Essex? I've not been able to find it on a map. Thanks. Rick Sherman, Kensington, CA
