Sally: I AM NOT researching the Pedrotti line, but probably can fill in a few gaps for you, if you wish as I am located in Humboldt County and have access (when they are open) to our library and have Marilyn Milota's books. From a glance, it looks as if Elvezio Joseph Pedrotti was the first one here. He and Attilia Grandi had at least three children born in the Capetown area of the Mattole region prior to 1900..
