His wife Margaret Hamilton born abt 1786. The only connection between James Baker Hamilton and the Hamilton's in Humboldt related to the Thompsons is Jane Thompson who was married to John Hamilton before he married Margaret cander Baskin in Va. Margaret Hamilton passed away in 1862 and John Hamilton in 1868? I have James and Levicy with Margaret c. Hamilton born S.C. 1786 with them at Decatur co. Iowa. James Alexander Hamilton and Mary powell and their son William M. Hamilton are listed with Lucinda Hamilton. Please let me know if this is possible. Joan
