Obits: A partial source explanation: Previously when visiting the Family History Center at 2806 Dolbeer St. in Eureka, I noticed that there was an on-going project there to clip and scrapbook obits from local papers. Since, at that time, I was only interested in people from about the 1930s and earlier, I did not pay attention to the date on which such endeavors started or which newspapers were involved because the starting date was later than the 1940s. Perhaps somebody who is visiting there now would fill in that information here. It is quicker than using the microfilm at the library. .
