    3. Earl, Years ago I obtained the pension application of Jacob Cagle, born in 1755 on the head waters of Deep River and died in Warren County Tennessee, I think in 1845. Apparently Henry was born before 1755, but he did die sometime around 1802. He had a son William who was born ca 1754 who was still living at age 96 in Sevier or Blount Co., TN in 1850. I have seen other records where Leonard, Henry and Charles or John Cagle gave assistance to the American cause during the revolution.
