Earl, This is probably part of my family. About 1838, Henry Cagle, Jr, 1780-1857, (Leonard, David, Henry, Sr.), moved from Hardin Co., TN to New Madrid Co., MO. When Henry Jr. died in 1857, he had the following children: John Cagle, Susan Cagle and Edna Deborah Cagle Smith living in Hardin Co., TN Sarah Cagle Hulin living in Illinois and George and Eliza Cagle living in New Madrid Co. MO. In 1870, George Cagle, last above, age 45 was living in New Madrid Co. with his children, a sister, a nephew and a grand kid or two. One of his sons was John Cagle, b. Mar. 1853. John had a son George who was born in 1880. The 1910 census of New Madrid Co. MO is as follows: 1910 Census New Madrid Co., MO George Cagle 30 MO Morehouse MO. Lutie 29 MO John 5 TN Martha 4 MO Earl!
