    3. Does anyone have any info on a John Cagle who married a Westmoreland. This is not a person in my line. I don't have a date of birth, but he would have been alive and married in 1890, living in Oklahoma (Indian Territory), possibly in Creek County, though that's just a guess on my part. His father-in-law, Noah Westmoreland, is referred to as "the old man", so I'm guessing this John Cagle would be somewhere between 25 and 45 in 1890 (still, that's just a guess). This is the John Cagle who appears accused of murder in Judge Parker's court in Ft. Smith. I got the records several years ago thinking they might be my John Cagle, but it appears they are not the same. However, I find the case interesting and may want to write an article on it someday. Would like to find this John Cagle's family line. Could he be a descendant of the recently-discussed Dade Co., MO Cagle's? Just a complete guess. Any leads would be appreciated.
