    3. Louis L. Cagle, Topeka, Kan. Louis L. Cagle, 76, died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at a Topeka care home. Born Feb. 12, 1924, in Greenville, S.C., he was the son of Gus and Minnie Ross Cagle. He lived in Topeka since 1951. He attended Parker High School in Greenville, and served in the U.S. Army in the south pacific during World War II. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Masters in education from the University of Illinois. He was employed by USD 501 as a cooperative office practice teacher from 1951 until retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church of Topeka. He was a Past Commander for the American Legion in Urbana, Ill. He was a member of the NEA and the KNEA and the American Vocational Association. He married Winifred Boone on June 16, 1946, in Urbana Ill. Immediate Survivors: two daughters, Lou Anne Dunaway of Lawrence, Kan., and Nancy Jo Dotson of Wichita, Kan.; two sons, Stephen A. Cagle of Dodge City, Kan., and Gary Alan Cagle of Ft. Collins, Colo.; two sisters, Virginia McCoy and Bernice Long, both of Greenville, S.C.; and four grandchildren. Memorial service: 3:30 p.m. today at Second Presbyterian Church, 210 N.W. Menninger Road, Topeka. Private family inurnment will be at Rochester Cemetery, Topeka. The family will receive friends following the memorial service. Memorials can be made to Midland Hospice, sent in care of Davidson Funeral Home. Davidson Funeral Home, Topeka.
