Neil A. Cagle PHOENIX, ARIZ. | Neil A. Cagle, retired, U.S. Army, died Sept. 23, 2003, at the VA Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz. A military graveside service will be held on Dec. 6 at 11 a.m. at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Surviving are his wife, Fern V. Cagle; two daughters, Denise Murphy of Pineville, La., and Rebecca Tucker of Lexington; a son, Dean Cagle of Amarillo, Texas; two stepdaughters, Betty Bruce of Springfield, Mo., and Deborah Smith of Bailey, Colo.; a stepson, James Phares of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Mack Cagle of Apopka, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
