The last I heard Jimmy B. was self-publishing - meaning that you have to buy directly from him. He used to be on this list but I haven't seen him lately. His book lists his email as [email protected] if it is still good. Here's the address I have for him: PO Box 3, Long Beach, MS 39560. When I ordered my copy he was just sending in another printing so it was a few weeks in coming but he was good about corresponding. On the other hand, John G. is another story. He is not on the internet and is VERY difficult to get answers from. I've been waiting for almost 2 years for a book I purchased. Repeated attempts at contact have not been acknowledged so - good luck on that part. Does this book have sources and citations so that information can be veriified? If so, I'd like to get a copy also. I lived in Long Beach years ago, but didn't know of Jimmy and there were very few Cagles on the Mississippi Gulf Coast then...we seem to be multiplying! The book, _Cagle Families in the Southern States: Decendants of Leonhard Cagle ca 1684 by Jimmy B. Cagle_ is a very large book of about 840 pages. It has nearly 7000 footnotes that list his sources but leans heavily on John G. Cagle's _Cagle Journal_. You should be aware that not all of Leonhart's son's lines are represented equally. My line through John "Dutchman" had very limited information included but I feel it is still a valuable resource to have on my shelf. Just my opinion.
