While searching on the Missouri State Archives site, there was a court record of a will for Joseph Kegel, dated 28 Dec 1863. He and his wife Anna Maria Kegel, had no children and the estate was left to his wife. There was a stipulation that Joseph Kegel's, sister Anna Maria Storch a widow receive $50.00 a year for the rest of her life. My wife and I are not sure on her last name although it appears to be " Storch ". If anyone has access to the 1850 St. Louis County & City census would you check for his listing?
