Does anyone on the list live near Fayetteville, Lincoln TN., that could do a look up for me? I'm trying to prove/disprove a connection to my Cagle family. Mary Bates, died in 1903, on either Sep. or Oct. 8. The obit is suppose to be listed in the "Fayetteville Observer" pg. 3. She was reported to be a great Aunt but I haven't been able to make a connection. I tried calling the library but was told they don't do research for folks, not enough staff or time.
