The Revs. Thomas Graves and Buster Latimer were to officiate. Burial was to be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Attalla. Collier-Butler Funeral Home was in charge. Mrs. Hurtt was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah County. She was a member of Litchfield Avenue Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Albert Julian Hurtt. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Davis, Mrs. Linda Stough, Mrs. Elizabeth Hyatt, Mrs. Kathy Gamblin and Mrs. Joann Moon, all of Gadsden, sons-in-law, James Hyatt, Randall Gamblin and Mike Moon; grandchildren, Pamela Davis Rains, Steven Stough, David, Carrie, and Anthony Hyatt, Anita and Brandy Gamblin, Kenny Clevenger and Michael Moon; chosen grandchild, Ambert Beason; great-grandchild, Cody Rains; sister, Mrs. Mildred Cagle Roberts, Snead; brother, Euel Dean Cagle, Huntsville, and sisters-in-law, Mrs. Den and Mrs. Jo Cagle.
