Surnames: Cagle Young Bargery Driver Potts Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/0JH.2ACEB/706 Message Board Post: I'm searching for a DEATH DATE and PLACE for a man named either John Robert Cagle or Robert John Cagle, who died in an hunting accident in 1973 or 1974. Presumably, this accident took place somewhere near West Memphis, Arkansas. Mr. Cagle was accompanied by his son-in-law when the accident took place. It's believed that Mr. Cagle was a resident of West Memphis at the time of his accident. Mr. Cagle's stepmother was called Ma Ludie. Mr. Cagle was married to Lois Potts, who was considerably younger than him. They had eight children. His children were named Anita, Carolyn, Joyce Luella, Johnnie Paul, Donnie Ray, Brenda Gayle, Paulette, and unknown daughter. Anita Cagle died as a result of a fire in her home in Texas in about 2001. Surely, her obituary would've been mentioned in a W. Memphis newspaper. Johnnie Paul Cagle is also deceased. John Robert/Robert John Cagle's son, Johnnie Paul Cagle, was a former Arkansas State Police Officer. He died before June 1993 presumbly in West Memphis. John Robert/Robert JohnCagle's widow, Lois Potts, later married Elmer Shehan/Sheehan. Elmer Sheehan is also deceased. that is all the information that I have. I would sincerely appreciate any help . I live in another state and I'm not able to research these obituaries personally. Thank you in advance.
