Eddie, I live in Knoxville. We have a great research center here with some newspapers from other cities and counties. I do no know for sure if there are any for Fayetteville, Lincoln Co. Next time I go, I will see. It is usually on Saturdays. I do these kind of lookups for people as a volunteer. Another avenue for you would be to post of Lincoln County message board on rootsweb.com your request. Often people will pick up on it. Another idea is to locate their genealogy society. Many times people there will do a simple search like this. Fayetteville is 200 miles from Knoxville, so impossible for me to go there. I will let you know if I find anything.
