    3. Following is a little information I have on Decatur and Perry Co. which were the same until about 1845. David DECATUR CO., TN Robert Cagle had 110.5 acres surveyed in Decatur Co. in 1846. David Cagle deeded 110 acres, Range 8, Sec, 1, District 8 to C. C. Williams, 1857. Moses Christianburry, of Madison Co., TN, sold 100 acres to Robert Cagle, 31 Dec. 1845, recorded 20 July 1846, Perry Co., TN, 7th Range, 1st Section, part of enter No. 701 dated 07 May 1820. Robert Cagle gave $200 to Henry C. Cagle for deed of trust, 08 Dec. 1848. H. C. Cagle was a J. P. in Decatur Co. in 1871. B. F. Cagle m. Sarah Duke, 02 Sept. 1891. Sarah E. Cagle m. J. W. Johnson, 19 Aug. 1890, J. A. Cagle, bondsman. PERRY CO. TN Simon Cagle tried for larceny in 1832. Paul Cagle, juror in court, 03 August 1836. Nancy Cagle------Robert Craig; David Cagle; Samuel Moore; John M. Young; John N. Bell; Polly McKernie; Patsy Cagle; Sarah Craig; and Hannah Young were bonded to give evidence in the Trial, State of Tennessee vs. Nancy Cagle, indicted for murder, 09 August 1838. State of Tennessee vs. Nancy Cagle, 07 April 1840. Issue an Alious Capias to the Sheriff of the County of Hardin returnable to the next term of the Circuit Court of Perry County. Green Cagle---Jury duty, 3, 4, and 6 December 1838.
