Hello Everyone, I wanted to let everyone know on the Cagle list that have always been very helpful to me in my search that my husbands mother Adelia June Cagle Whenry passed away on January 7, 2004 at 0245 am. Her father was Dorris Franklin Cagle, son of John Cagle d.1879 in Lousiana, grandson of Charles Cagle Sr.. We still are not sure of his father, but presume that his name was Samuel Cagle. June was born on November 5, 1941 in Humboldt County, Tn to Dorris Cagle and Nancy Catherine Cagle nee Mulliniks. If anyone would like a copy of her obituary, I would be happy to forward the information. I started working on our family tree for her, and did not get it quite finished. Now, more than ever, I am on a quest to complete the tree. She gave me recently before she passed the "Black Book" that has pictures dating back to the 1820s. I am going to try to scan them and post them on a website, which I have not figured out yet so bear with me.
