    2. David, I did a little digging around on George and didn't find anything past 1880. This is going to be a hard one because there is not another census until 1900, chances are George is dead, maybe Malinda as well and if not she is probably remarried with another surname. I did check for a census of 1900 for her, William Caine, and Henry with no luck. I did find a William Caine in Lubbock, but was too old to be ours. Are these in your line. 3. We had a couple of relatives that seemed to drop off the earth. I did some digging into what was happening in history at the time and hit upon several epidemics. I found out that the family all had diptheria except for 2 of the children. Those are the two that disappeared. I finally found them at a relative's home in Texas.(they were from the Ohio/West Virginia area) It seems they had been sent away in an effort to keep them healthy. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, March 28, 2004 3:06 PM Subject: Re: [CAGLE] New List Member > David, > > I did a little digging around on George and didn't find anything past > 1880.
