Hi all, >From another group list. Cagle Obit. Dero J. Cagle PAWLEYS ISLAND, SC, Dero J. Cagle, 86, formerly of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, March 23, 2004, in Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Memorial Funeral services will be held in St. Stephens Episcopal Church Cemetery, in Wimberley, Texas, at a later date. He was born February 4, 1918, in Sherman, Texas, a son of the late Walter Luther Cagle and Ola Cagle. Mr. Cagle was a retired Finance Officer with Department of State Agency for International Development. He retired with 30 years of service. He was a graduate of Raymondville High School in Ramondville, Texas, and also attended Washington University. He was a Master Mason with Columbia Lodge in Arlington, Virginia and a life member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He was a Veteran of the Navy and Army. Surviving are an adopted son, Hal K. Cagle, of Kingston, Illinois; three grandchildren, Kenneth Wayne Cagle, of Mt. Vernon, Maine, Donald James Cagle, of Lumbar, Illinois, and Tina Cagle Fluch, of Kingston, Illinois; one niece, Bettie Frost, of Wimberley, Texas, and a long time friend and caregiver, Anna Mercer-Lesley, of Georgetown.
